The Halo 5: Launch Gameplay Trailer is Here, and it is Epic! See the explosive action below –
The story is mostly clear after watching this trailer, where it seems some fans of past Halo games haven’t really gotten much into the story-lines of those games. It would appear that Master Chief has been asked to do something that even he wouldn’t do and has now gone rogue, and at the worst time, seeing as the galaxy is in one of the most hostile environments we’ve seen in a Halo game. As the trailer says, the hero then “becomes the hunted” as a squad of 4 are out to find the Chief, while the people are apparently questioning his loyalty.
In the second half of the trailer, where we get to see some of the in-game action, the choice of music was a perfect way to help build the hype for this action-packed sequence. “Knight of Cydonia” by Muse was the soundtrack of choice, and comments on the official trailer page give insight into what Microsoft thinks of the decision.
Players can expect the most dramatic Halo story to-date with up to four players in the cooperative campaign that will span three world, playing as both Master Chief and Spartan Locke. Halo 5: Guardians launches exclusively on Xbox One on October 27th, 2015.
