The update for the Rocket League Hoops game mode has gone live as of today, April 26th, and it is a slam dunk! Independent video game developer and publisher, Psyonix, added the dynamic basketball twist to Rocket League after the very-successful addition of the “Snow Day” game mode that brought a hockey style of gameplay to the mix. Fans can download the highly-anticipated basketball-inspired Rocket League Hoops mode for FREE as part of a regularly-scheduled game update. An officially-licensed “NBA Flag Pack,” containing the logos of all 30 NBA teams represented as in-game flags, will also be available for sale as premium DLC.
The Rocket League Hoops update also comes with a FREE new arena called “Dunk House,” where the net itself is used like a ramp for the ball, or you can shoot on the hoop via the backboard or off-the-wall shots. The new Hoops mode update is available for free on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, computer entertainment system, and Windows PC via Steam.
